Sudbury, Ontario – October 26, 2018 – Supreme Metals Corp. (the “Company” or “Supreme”) (CSE: ABJ) (FSE: A68) today announced the completion of field data acquisition of a UAV Total Field Magnetometer survey being undertaken by Pioneer Aerial Surveys Ltd. over its Bloom Lake East Property.
The low altitude survey was flown at a line spacing of 50 metres over the whole Bloom Lake East Property resulting in approximately 462 line kilometres of data. Recent data collected by such surveys have yielded exceptional detail greater than other airborne magnetometer surveys and at a significant cost reduction and less environmental damage then a ground cut-line survey. Processing of the geophysical data by a qualified geophysicist is now underway and the interpretive maps are expected to be available once processed.
Bob Komarechka, P.Geo., CEO of the Company, commented:
The data collected from this survey will help define the extent and magnetic variations within the cobalt bearing gabbro found within the area. In addition, the data collected will give significant detail to the recorded iron formations on the property so that diamond drill targets for evaluation of the iron potential may be determined.
About the Bloom Lake East Property
The Bloom Lake East Property, consisting of 2,100 hectares, is located in Labrador along the Quebec –Labrador border between Champion Iron Limited’s recently opened Bloom Lake Open Pit mine located 2 km to the west in Quebec and the iron ore mining operations of Iron Ore of Canada located 15 km to the east in Labrador near Labrador City. A cobalt occurrence was inadvertently found following analysis drilled gabbroic core from the Bloom Lake East Property. Also, a cobalt occurrence reported by the Quebec government yielded an historic, not NI43-101 compliant) assay of 5% cobalt in a gabbro unit on the adjacent ground of another company several kilometers away. At this time very little work has been done evaluating the cobalt potential of the gabbro in this area.
Mr. Robert Komarechka,P.Geo, a Qualified Person under NI 43-101 regulations, has reviewed and approved the scientific and technical disclosure in the news release.
